Frequently Asked Questions and things you might need to know

‘Hand-made’ quality

All my products are hand-printed and/or hand-made by me except where stated. ‘Hand-made’ does mean there will be idiosyncrasies that make each item unique, but the quality of my products is very important to me and I work very hard to ensure it’s of a high standard that I’d be happy to receive. Heaven forbid if you find otherwise! Please let me know as soon as you can and I'll move heaven and earth to put it right, if I can. Your feedback, good or bad, is valued and helps me to ensure a quality product.

Care instructions

Cushions and other hand-printed items:

Spot clean with mild, hand-wash only detergent in first instance, otherwise hand-wash separately, inside out, rinse well then line-dry. Iron on the reverse with a warm iron. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Hannah’s buttons:

Please remove from garment before garment is washed. If washed, dry out completely, then iron petals avoiding button. Worn lots, they will fray slightly over time but most people say this adds to their hand-made charm. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Mugs:

My mugs are bone china and can be dishwashed safely. Over time the design will fade with repeated dishwashing. Hand-wash to prolong the brightness of the colours. If tea-staining occurs please use a tiny amount of cream cleaner on inside of the mug only.

Placemats and coasters:

My placemats and coasters are heat proof to normal domestic temperatures. To clean, wipe with clean, damp cloth then dry with kitchen paper to stop them sticking together when stored. Do not submerge in water.
